Prerequisite: The ability to cast at least one spell
Very familiar with evocation magic in particular, you gain the following benefits.
- The gold and time you must spend to scribe a spell scroll of an evocation spell, as well as to copy an evocation spell into your spellbook, ritual book, or Book of Shadows, is halved if it isn't already.
- You have advantage on saving throws against evocation spells, as well as on Intelligence (arcana) checks made to recognize an evocation spell or its effect.
- When you cast an evocation spell (excluding chaos bolt) that deals damage, instead of rolling dice to determine the damage dealt, you can instead use the highest number possible for each die. This benefit applies to all damage rolls made for this spell until the start of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
