Prerequisite: The ability to cast at least one spell
Very familiar with illusion magic in particular, you gain the following benefits.
- The gold and time you must spend to scribe a spell scroll of an illusion spell, as well as to copy an illusion spell into your spellbook, ritual book, or Book of Shadows, is halved if it isn't already.
- You have advantage on saving throws against illusion spells, as well as on Intelligence (arcana) checks made to recognize an evocation spell or its effect, and on Intelligence (investigation) check made to discern illusions.
- When you cast an illusion spell that creates an effect which allows creatures to make an ability check to discern that the spell's effect is an illusion, you can choose to cause all creatures to have disadvantage on ability checks made to discern that the spell's effect is an illusion until you cast another illusion spell. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
