You have a deadeyed demeanor and don't have time to fix your firearms, granting you the following benefits:

• Increase your Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• You gain proficiency with firearms (see “Firearms” in the Dungeon Master’s Guide).
• Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.
• Once per short rest, when your weapon misfires you can spend 1 grit point to ignore the misfire. instead take the full damage of your guns firing profile and then roll to hit again as if the weapon had never misfired.
• When you repair a gun after it misfires you can use a bonus action to make a ranged attack with disadvantage. The user then takes half the damage dealt rounded down from a succesful attack.
