Prerequisite: Dexterity 15 or higher.
Few people practice throwing their weapons away; you, however, have become a master at it.
- Drawing a dagger as part of an attack with it does not use your free object interaction for the turn.
- Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls with a dagger.
- Attacking at long range doesn't impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls with a dagger.
- You can make a bonus action attack with a dagger.

Hey a couple thoughts on this.
The first bullet point is helpful, but probably won't be needed much.
What's the need for the second bullet when you can just make a melee attack with the dagger?
The third bullet is nice, but sharpshooter does it better and benefits all ranged weapons.
The fourth bullet is pretty good, but most people using daggers are dual wielding, so this will only increase the damage of their bonus attack.
I like the idea behind this feat, but overall it's weak. You can make it stronger.
It is if you want to draw more than one dagger in a turn, like for throwing several.
If you want to throw a dagger at a target even when you're in melee with another enemy.
The dagger is not a ranged weapon.
It also bypasses the requirement of regular two-weapon fighting of having to have a weapon in both hands and having to use the Attack action with one dagger in order to qualify for the bonus action to attack with the other.
No, I can't, because then it would be overpowered.
Nice work I do not have to make similar feat by myself now :D
I like how this feat removes limitations in combat to improve your gameplay instead of simply adding numbers.
Power level of this feat is good by my opinionand I will be using it for sure :)
Also tell me your opinion on this feat I am about to create. (I will use your feat as a prerequisite if that is ok)
Fast Daggers
You practiced to throw weapons at daily basics. Your hands are so fast now that you can throw suprising amount of daggers, stars or similar projectiles. The only thing that limit you now is good equipment and enough ammunition.
Whenever you throw a light weapons using an acion or bonus action. You can use Extra Attack feature for each of them.
Hope you still visit this site :)
I’m playing an arcane trickster and this feat would make her crazy good. Use your action to cast a spell or booming blade, and can still go for that sneak attack with your bonus action. It actually feels a tad unbalanced specifically on the Arcane trickster; I feel every AT would end up taking this feat because of the bonus action attack.
Barbarians would be nuts with this feat as well, in that they could get a free bonus action attack each turn, though in my opinion polearm master is just as good in terms of doing crazy damage.
whats to stop a rogue from just using a dagger on their bonus action, getting sneak attack, then holding their action and getting sneak attack again, that ability replicates the very rare scimitar of speed, I would chnge it in some way to limit that, say you can only do it if? or you can take this bonus action when?
Agreed, otherwise I like the feat. My suggestion would be to make the bonus action attack require you to already be making an attack with a dagger or simply the attack action like polearm master does. Alternatively, if the designer really likes the ability to attack as a bonus action and do something else as an action, the feat could just stipulate that the bonus action attack cannot trigger sneak attack specifically. Unfortunately the exploit just makes the feat too strong as is in my opinion, especially at lower levels.
What stops them from doing as you suggest is the fact that sneak attack only works once per turn. Sneak Attack RAW
If they make it so the bonus action requires you to take the attack action, then it'd be no different than normal rules. Any character can make 2 attacks a turn if they are dual wielding - the only exception is that they need the two-weapon fighting style/feat in order to apply bonuses to their bonus action attack.
The only thing to "fix the exploit" is to do as you suggested and say that sneak attack cannot be applied because of an attack made using this feat (e.g. Arcane Tricksters casting and then using their bonus action to attack with a dagger).
