Characters also gain access to the Message Cantrip and Lightning Resistance.
For the first week you have a Baby Dragon. Use Pseudodragon stats. You must roll animal handling for seven days to train the dragon.
For the next year you have a Child Dragon. Use Wyrmling Stats. They can be used as beast of burden and can carry 1 person.
At 1 year they are a Young Dragon. Use Young Adult Dragon Stats. They can be used as a beast of burden, can carry 2 people, and will leap to your defense if you are threatened within their sight. Limited telepathic abilities mean that if you are upset they will see that as a threat.
At 5 years old they become an Adult Dragon. Use Adult Dragon Stats. They will now fight for you on command, can carry 4 people, and have limited telepathic abilities to send you images. - Female dragons can lay eggs after a mating flight.
At 30 Years old they become an Ancient Dragon. Use Ancient Dragon Stats. They have limited sentience, can carry 8 people, and have telepathic abilities. They can speak telepathically at around the level of a 3 year old.
