Perched at the very precipice of oblivion.
Mastery over one's body allows them access to the deepest recesses of their bodily energy. You gain the ability to perform great feats which were otherwise impossible for you to perform at the cost of exhaustion. The cost of exhaustion depends on the desired action.
- You may add +10 to your damage, or +10 to hit for your next two attacks in exchange for 1 level of exhaustion.
- You may gain advantage on any Strength or Dexterity skill check or saving throw for 1 level of exhaustion
- You may spend two hit dice + your CON modifier as a bonus action to regain hit points for 1 level of exhaustion.
- You may regain a use of an action surge and a bonus action for 2 levels of exhaustion.
In addition to this, you have achieved mastery over your own body, granting the following effects:
- Each level of exhaustion can be treated as one level fewer than it's total level until level 6. Reaching level 6 of exhaustion still results in death.
- Two levels of exhaustion can be lost per long rest instead of one.
- You gain proficiency in Athletics. If you are already proficient, you gain double proficiency.
