Prerequisite: The ability to cast at least one spell Character level 8th or higher
Choose an element that you have the Elemental Adept feat for, and bring it to new heights at the cost of shutting out all other elements.
When you gain this feat, you gain the following benefits:
- Spells you cast treat immunity to your chosen element damage as resistance to that damage type.
- Your elemental type lasts longer on users, when you deal damage with your chosen elemental type on your turn with a single-targeted spell, the enemy takes an additional 1d4 damage of your chosen element on their next turn.
- When you cast a spell that deals elemental damage other than you chosen element, you must treat said elemental damage as damage of your chosen element type.
- As a result of your pinpoint focus, spells which deal elemental damage other than your chosen one take 3x longer to transcribe and cost 3x as much to do so, as you must convert these spells to your own elemental style.

Posted May 18, 2023That last bullet point just specifically makes the feat worse for Wizards than other spell casters.
