The ascetic who takes a vow of poverty is a focused person bent on a path of humble perfection in simple things. They are an inspiration to be around once you get to know them, and they are often to be found among monks and clerics. There is no set amount of money that is the cutting off point for a vow of poverty, but the general rule of thumb is that the person has no valuable items, and the worth of all their belongings is less than 50 gold pieces.
This feat grants the ascetic:
- Inspiration after a short or long rest
- No need for sustenance, I.E. food or drink
- Extreme weather acclimation, cold or hot weather.
- 3 bonus feats in return for forgoing their magical item attunement capabilities
If the ascetic breaks their vow, they are cursed.
