Prerequisite: Phantom Shift 1, the ability to use Psionics, and the ability to install Neuromods from the "Phantom" subsection of the Morph skill tree
Ether Resistance requires 3 Etheric Phantom or Etheric Mimic scans, 1 Neuromods and Phantom Shift 1, and allows a person to use a minute to gain the Ether Resistance feat, during this time the person is considered Incapacitated. Thermal Absorption requires 1 additional Etheric Phantom or Etheric Mimic scans, 3 Neuromods and Ether Resistance, and allows a person to use a minute to gain the Ether Absorption feat, during this time the person is considered Incapacitated.
Ether Resistance grants permanent resistance to ether damage.
Ether Absorption allows a person to, when taking ether damage, to take half the damage and negate it, and turn that into psi points for themselves. This does not stack with Ether Resistance.
