Backlash 1 requires scans of 1 Weaver and 1 Nightmare, along with 2 Neuromods to create and and allows a person to use one minute to get the Backlash ability rank 1, during this time the person is considered Incapacitated. Backlash 2 requires scanning 2 additional Weavers and 2 additional Nightmares, Backlash 1, and 4 Neuromods to create and and allows a person to use one minute to get the Backlash ability rank 2, during this time the person is considered Incapacitated. Backlash 3 requires scanning an additional 2 Weavers and 2 additional Nightmares, Backlash 2 and 6 Neuromods to create and and allows a person to use one minute to get the Backlash ability rank 3, during this time the person is considered Incapacitated. If this is the very first typhon based Neuromod the person is installing, the time incapacitated is increased to ten minutes.
All forms of backlash are cast as a bonus action, have a 4 turn cooldown, and require 20 psi points.
Backlash 1 creates a shield for 1d4 turns that, when attacked, reflects all damage unto the attacker, and knocks them back 10 feet, if the attacker did a melee attack. Reflects up to one attack.
Backlash 2 creates a shield for 1d4+1 turns that, when attacked, reflects all damage unto the attacker, and knocks them back 10 feet, if the attacker did a melee attack. Reflects up to 2 attacks.
Backlash 3 creates a shield for 1d6 turns that, when attacked, reflects all damage unto the attacker, and knocks them back 10 feet, if the attacker did a melee attack. Reflects up to 3 attacks.
