Prerequisite: Proficiency with a Ranged Weapon
Your combat expertise with Bows has made you heartier and thanks to that you gain the following benefits:
- You gain a +1 to your Constitution score.
- Once per short rest, as a Reaction, you may reduce the damage of a single attack made against you by your Constitution modifier plus your character level.
- You gain Grit points equal to your Constitution modifier plus your Proficiency Bonus. You may expend one Grit point to perform one of the following Trick Shots per ranged weapon attack. (You regain 1 expended grit point each time you roll a 20 on the d20 roll for an attack with a bow, or deal a killing blow with a bow to a creature. You regain all expended grit points after a short or long rest.)
- Saving Throws. Some of your trick shots require your targets to make a saving throw to resist the trick shot’s effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows:
Trick Shot save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier.
- Saving Throws. Some of your trick shots require your targets to make a saving throw to resist the trick shot’s effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows:
- Trick Shots:
- Disarming Shot: When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw or it drops one item (of your choice) that it is holding. That item flies 10 feet from the creature in a random direction.
- Forceful Shot: When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw otherwise it is pushed back 10 feet. This effect only works against Large or smaller creatures.
- Head Shot: When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack, add 1d8 damage to the damage roll. This damage increases at 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
- Immobilizing Shot: When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack, it must succeed on a Strength saving throw otherwise its movement speed becomes 0 until the end of your next turn.
- Precision Shot: When you make a ranged weapon attack against a creature, you can expend one grit point to gain advantage on the attack roll.
