Your mind was touched by the Great Old Ones, whereby you were uplifted. Unlike the other dumb creatures of this world, you were born to true greatness and infinite power. Your magical power was enhanced by the touch of the Great Old Ones, but in return your body and mind were terribly distorted, as everything has its price. Furthermore, you now understand the horrifying language of the Eldritch Ones.
You gain the following benefits:
- Increase Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- You learn the Vicious Mockery cantrip. The spells’ spellcasting ability is Charisma.
- You lern Deep Speech.
- You gain one of the following features:
| d6 | Feature |
|---|---|
| 1 | The madness of the Far Realms flows through your eyes, causing them to be riddled with black swirls. |
| 2 | Occasionally tentacles grow on different parts of your body, but they disappear after a short duration. |
| 3 | Sometimes madness takes over and you start to laugh maniacally for no reason. |
| 4 | You bleed liquid madness. |
| 5 | At times you have minor hallucinations of a nightmarish parallel dimension. |
| 6 | You seem constantly rushed and frightened. |

Posted Jan 13, 2021With the release of TASHA'S CAULDRON OF EVERYTHING, it is now possible to freely distribute the Ability Scores of the races. Therefore I have adapted the Feat.
It can now be chosen by any race and only increases the Charisma by 1. The ability to speak Deep Speech and the Cantrip, however, remain. Thus, the flavor of my Feat is preserved without it becoming too OP.
