Being chosen comes with perks!! 

You can add an extra die to any healing you cast (i.e. CLW level 1 will heal for 1d8+WIS Mod. You can increase that to 2d8+WIS Mod )

You can use this ability an amount of times equal to your WIS mod per long rest.

These extra DIE can be added all at once or over the course of several castings. But you can not add more than your WIS Mod.
