A Deity or magical being of great power has gifted you with luck that goes far beyond what can be considered normal.  Every single time you roll a d20 you also roll a d4 (rolling two when you have advantage, for example).  The d4 has four possible effects: on a 4 you can change your d20 roll to a 20, on a 3 you can change your d20 roll to a 15, on a 2 you can change your d20 roll to a 10, on a 1 you have to change it to a 1.  If you have disadvantage then this feat cancels the disadvantage but you aren't allowed to roll a d4 when you roll your d20

However this luck comes with a significant curse to magically balance the luck...

The curse causes you take a -2 penalty to three different ability scores, two of which must be your classes' starting saving throw proficiencies.

This Feat can be taken one additional time changing it to Protagonist's Luck, called after the protagonist of a story that has near impossible good fortune.  This second time can only be taken if you are in good standing with the being who granted you Ultra Luck (DM Discretion) or another being of epic power.

Your d4 dice has changed to a d6 with the following effects: every single time you roll a d20 you also roll a d6 (rolling two when you have advantage, for example).  The d6 has four possible effects: on a 6-5 you can change your d20 roll to a 20, on a 4-3 you can change your d20 roll to a 15, on a 2 you can change your d20 roll to a 10, on a 1 you have to change it to a 1.  If you have disadvantage then this feat cancels the disadvantage but you aren't allowed to roll a d6 when you roll your d20

This luck comes with a major curse even more powerful than before.  The curse is especially potent to offset the good fortune that must surely follow you.

The curse causes you take a -2 penalty to the other three ability scores that weren't affected by Ultra Luck.

This extreme luck allows you to perform consistently amazing feats that someone of your skill could only hope to achieve once in a blue moon.  However your potential has been extremely crippled by the curse causing you to be less impressive than those of similar experience.

The Lucky feat can't be taken if you have this feat and you can't take the Lucky feat when you have this one. In addition this feat can't affect rerolls. This feat doesn't function when you multiclass.  When you get an item that sets a score to a certain number, such as Headband of Intellect, the penalty applies after.  This means that your intelligence score with said Headband of Intellect would be 17.
