Prerequisite: Requires Artificer Class and Intelligence score of 16

Your mastery and knowledge of your craft makes your crafted items more potent and are improved versions of their base counterparts. You as the Creator begin to collect a series of formulae through experimentation for these improved items, these will be stored as recipes or blueprints in a Collection.

When experimenting to create Improved formulas, you must be proficient in the Artisan’s Tools appropriate to craft the item (tools will be at the DM’s Discretion). Roll an Intelligence check and double your proficiency on the Artisan’s tools required, it must succeed a DC of 25 otherwise the experiment fails. If you acquired a recipe or blueprint of the item to be crafted, it will help lower the DC of the Check by 5. An assisting friendly ally with proficiency in the artisan tools required will further lower the DC of the check by 2, you can only be assisted by one other friendly ally to preserve the integrity of your Improved formula. A successful check will add the Improved formula/blueprint to your Collection. The time and cost to experiment depend on the item being crafted, refer to existing rules for crafting magic and non magic items (or as decided by the DM). All components and gp cost will be spent in succeeding or failing crafting checks. You can use this feature a number of times equal to you Intelligence modifier, and will reset every long rest. This feature can also be used simultaneously when experimenting on multiple Improved Formulas.

When Crafting Improved Items from your Collection, they will bear your signature and must be named differently from it’s Original Version. These items will cost 25% more and are more interesting to potential buyers.

The amount of time and cost it takes to craft an Improved Item from your Collection is Halved

These Improved Items are considered as buffed up versions of their Original counterparts, they will gain the following properties:

INVIGORATING - Improved Potions of Healing of any rarity will revitalize you better, add 1d4 + 1 to the HP regained.

ENDURING - Potions that provide effects over time (ex.potion of flying, potion of acid resistance, etc.) will be more effective for longer periods of time, increase the effectiveness duration by half of the Original Version’s duration.

POTENT - Potions that deal damage and Poisons are more caustic and deal more damage when used, add One die of the damage type + 1 to the damage dealt.

Feat is under construction, but will update as often as I can. Comments and suggestions are very much welcome.
