You’ve learned to focus energy by using the Channel action. To channel, end your turn by concentrating on a spell or attack until the start of your next turn. (If you lose concentration, the channeling is interrupted and the spell or attack is lost.) At that time, you must maintain concentration by using another Channel action or unleash it immediately. Choose from the following options once for each time the spell or attack was channeled:
- Accuracy — You gain advantage on the first attack roll. If you already chose this option, that attack is guaranteed to hit instead.
- Ferocity — You can reroll 1s or 2s on the damage dice, but must use the new roll. If you already chose this option, that spell or attack deals maximum damage instead.
- Potency — Damage from the spell or attack ignores any resistances. If you already chose this option, the damage also ignores any immunities, and creatures that aren't immune are treated as vulnerable.
The Channel action can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, after which you must complete a short rest before channeling again.

Posted Jan 23, 2021Looking for feedback on this. It's basically a feat that enables you to do something better than True Strike, albeit a limited number of times per day. I considered basing it off of Rogues' "Careful Aim" bonus action, and even considered movement penalties or preventing attacks, but I was worried about making it too wordy (and also too weak).
Speaking of wording, I did my best to stay true to correct D&D wording, while also trying to prevent abuse through linguistic loopholes. I hope that common sense will prevail in the places I trimmed a few words.
