When you use your cunning artisan feature to make a shield you can choose one immunity from the monster and imbue it into the shield, while wielding said shield you gain resistance to the chosen damage type. Furthermore when using your cunning artisan feature, if the monster you are using does fire, thunder, lightning, or cold damage you can imbue it into the weapon, if you make an attack with this weapon you can add a d4 of the chosen damage type to the damage roll.
