Proficiency with Whips
You have mastered the ways of the whip and the intricacies of such an exotic weapon. You gain the following benefits:
- When you take the Attack action and attack with only a whip, you can use a bonus action to crack the whip and make a quick, additional melee attack. This attack uses the same ability modifier as the primary attack. The weapon’s damage die for this attack is the same damage as the Spike Tipped whip you are using.
- While you are wielding a whip, other creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter your reach.
- You may add your proficiency bonus to ability checks and attacks made to disarm enemies when using a whip as a part of the check or attack.
