You are imbued with abilities from the Raven Queen herself. As a Kai you are of the highest order of servants to her. With the rank and title you gain a +1 to an ability of your choice as well as once daily you can gain the ability to summon the power of the Raven Queen. This summoning is enacted as a free action and gives you a temporary resistance to all nonmagical damage and an immunity to cold damage for 1 minute.
The final bestowal upon a Kai is the ability to imbue their weapon with power. This causes the weapon to receive a +2 bonus to hit and to damage.
