Not wanting to let good meat go to waste, you have learned to use the remains of freshly killed enemies as ingredients for healing meals. Exceptional preparation may even give your meal a delightful after-taste. You can also make delectable treats and pastries that are super tasty.
• Increase your Constitution or Wisdom by 1, to a maximum of 20
• You gain proficiency with cook’s utensils if you don’t already have it. If you were already proficient with this tool, you add double your proficiency bonus to survival checks you make when using cook's utensils to prepare a meal.
• With one hour of work or when you finish a long rest, you can cook a number of treats equal to your proficiency bonus. These special treats last up to one day after being made and mostly consist of pastries, treats, or hardy snacks. A creature can use a bonus action to eat one of those treats to gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus but can only be affected by them once per day and these last only eight hours. In addition, those who eat one of these treats gain advantage on Constitution saving throws against disease for the next eight hours
• As an action, you can inspect a drink or plate of food within 5 feet of you and determine whether it is poisoned, provided that you can see and smell it.
• Upon taking this feat, you gain access to the preparation of exceptional meals. When preparing a meal with cooking utensils you have a chance of making magnificent cuisine. You forgo the normal extra bonus using cook's utensils to prepare a meal. The size of the fallen creature used as the main ingredient also determines the number of meals you can create. If there is no fallen creature and you are using mundane but quality ingredients instead you may prepare enough of this food for a number of creatures equal to 4 + your proficiency bonus. Finally, any meal that is not stored in freezing temperatures or preserved in some other way will spoil after 24 hours.
