Effects of the inferno fist, and winter palm technique feat: Unarmed Attacks can have there damage type be either Bludgeoning, fire or cold damage. the monk can change the damage type at will (no action required). This change affects all unarmed strike damage. So as a example, It affects flurry of blows. It also improves the martial arts prowess of the monk significantly, giving the monks unarmed strikes +1 to hit and +1 to damage.
Prerequisites: You must be a monk of 3rd level or higher. And read the scroll "Bound of Flame, Cage of Ice" that explains the fighting technique, how to preform the ritual, the equipment needed, and how to craft some of the items you need for the ritual.
Requirement's / Crafting: The first step is acquiring a Garnet, of a value of at least 100 gold. And a Tourmaline, of a value of at least 100 gold. The gem's must next be heavily enchanted by a spell caster that knows and can cast the spell Fire Shield. The enchantment is to be put on the crystals. The fire half of the fire shield spell for the Garnet, and the cold half of the fire shield spell for the Tourmaline. The creation of the magic gems takes 7 days and 1000 gold for materials. The spell caster needs the scroll to understand the enchanting posses.
The next step is requiring a Jeweler to create two mithril body anchors for the gems, costing 100 gold each in material. The anchors are inscribed with tribal runes and the Jeweler requires the scroll to make the two body anchors. To make them requires a DC 16 tool check with jewelers tools and the creature making the check must be proficient with Jewelers tools. You or another Jeweler spends the next 12 hours trying to make them. If you fail the check, They are not correct and must be remade. The check can be made again the next day with another 12 hour investment. Once the anchors are made properly. They are then encrusted with the gems a DC 10 tool check with jewelers tools. On a failed check of the mithril clasps brake due to improper heating and folding of the clasp down and the anchors must be remade.
The final step comes Once the anchors are complete, And the monk has studied the ritual from the scroll. The monk preforms a ritual That takes 2 days and 2 nights, With no rest. Giving the monk one level of exhaustion. On the dawn of the 3rd day, the monk preforms a surgery to graft the two gems onto two separate points on there body. These two points must be opposite points on the body. this requires a DC 14 medicine check and a healer's kit to be on the monks person to have the tools needed. And on a fail the monk takes 1d4 slashing damage, 1d4 fire damage, and 1d4 cold damage, And must restart the ritual.
