The energy of the storm giants’ will embues you with both strength of mind and body. You feel not only the lineage of the Giants within you and their history, but also the cracking of electricity in your veins.
You gain the Uvar Storm rune as a mark on your body. Using this rune, you can glimpse the future like a storm giant. While wearing or carrying an object inscribed with this rune, you have advantage on Intelligence (Arcana) checks, and you can’t be surprised as long as you are not incapacitated. Your intelligence increases by 2 and you learn how to speak giant.
Storm Sight
You can invoke the rune as a bonus action to enter a prophetic state for 1 minute or until you’re incapacitated. Until the state ends, when you or another creature you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, a saving throw, or an ability check, you can use your reaction to cause the roll to have advantage or disadvantage. Once you invoke this ability, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
One with the Storm
Each of your weapon attacks and unarmed strikes do an additional 1d8 lighting damage.
The Wrath of Uvar
As a bonus action, you can also enter a ‘storm state’. Your weapon attack gain an additional 5ft range and your unarmed strikes gain a range of 20ft. This lasts for 1 minute. You also become immune to lightning damage in this state. Once you invoke this ability, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
Giant's Spirit
Once per day you can make yourself grow, swelling with the spirit of the giants. You become a large creature, and gain advantage on strength checks and saving throws. This ability lasts for 1 hour
Last March of the Storm Giants
Once, in the campaign, you can channel this giant’s spirit to temporarily make yourself one of them. You grow to a Huge creature, cracking with lightning. You gain 120hp, and you add an extra damage dice to each of your attacks. You also gain the following attack option:
- Lightning Strike . The giant hurls a magical lightning bolt at a point it can see within 500 feet of it. Each creature within 10 feet of that point must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 54 (12d8) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
This form lasts for a minute, and once used your powers will fade. They may come back, but will take some time. For a length of time specified by the DM, you cannot invoke 'The Wrath of Uvar', 'Giant's Spirit', or 'Last March of the Storm Giants'. The other benefits given by the Rune remain.
