Prerequisite: Prerequisites: Class Barbarian, Fighter, or Paladin with a Constitution and/or AC of 16 or greater.
With a roar of fighting spirit that manifests phantasmal chains that anchors you to the ground, you forgo your own actions to become an impervious bastion on the battlefield for your allies. If you choose to use this ability; It must be your first action and your must forgo any subsequent action (attacking, dodging, assisting, etc.) or reaction (attacks of opportunity, etc.) you may have until the start of your next turn. You gain the following properties:
- Your movement speed drops to Zero until the start of your next turn. Your next turn you half your movement speed.
- Your AC temporarily goes up by a factor of 1.25 rounded down or by DM's discretion until the start of your next turn (i.e. if your AC is 16, you will have a temporary AC of 20).
- Any enemy within 45 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Intimidation roll. On a failed save, enemies must either disengage or incur attacks of opportunities from your allies if previously engaged with them to attack you. Your allies may maneuver around these enemies and these enemies have disadvantage on attacks of opportunity against your allies. On a successful saving throw, they resist all effects of the howl.
- You resist any knock-back and have advantage against being knocked prone.
- Area-of-effect Spells/throw-ables centered on or within 5 ft of you have their areas-of-effect halved. You also take half damage from damage that requires a saving throw.
May be used once per Long-Rest.
