Prerequisite: Artificer
Be it in the home of your shop or on the road, you know how to be the most efficient with your craft. Be it building and improving, or standing on the shoulders of giants and breaking down the secrets they used to craft many of the marvels of the world before you.
- You gain three artisan's tool proficiency of your choice
- If you have access to a workshop and proper tools, you can craft items in four times the normal time it takes. Raw materials and cost are used as normal.
- You are skilled enough to craft small items while on the road. If you have access to tools, you can make progress on an item while taking a long rest. For every two long rests you spend crafting, you make one workday worth of progress. This feature is in place of time spent at a workshop.
- You have the ability to learn the formula to make a magical item after spending time studying it. Common Items take one short rest of study. Uncommon Items take 2 short rests of study. Rare take 4 short rests of study. And a Very Rare item takes 2 full days of study. Legendary and Artifacts have to much complexity for you to learn their creation in this way.
- After the time of study make an Arcana check DC15 for a common magical item, +2 for each rarity level above common. A successful check allows you to learn and record the formula, a failed check requires another allotment of time dedicated to the study to make another attempt. If using items that you have personally created from infusions, the Arcana Check DC is 10 for a common magical item, +2 for each rarity level above common.
- You also have access to the spell "Mending" that can be cast at will as a ritual only.
