As a reaction, when a creature within 5 ft. of you is going to be hit with an attack or fails a DEX saving throw that you succeeded, you can take the hit for them. The attack automatically hits you and the save automatically fails for you. In addition, you trade places with them but does not provoke opportunity attacks. Both you and the saved creature gain advantage on the next attack, saving throw, or ability check. You may give up your advantage and opt to impose disadvantage on the next attack, saving throw, or ability check made by the creature that attacked you (if applicable). May only be used 3 times per short rest. Uses beyond 3 will impose one level of exhaustion.
This feature is intended to be a feature that all players have in order to assist each other in combat. The DM may choose to make this a learned feature or an innate one, though the author intends this to be something all players start with.
