You are well-trained and experienced. Combat is nothing new to you and it shows.
Before rolling for damage using d8, d12, or d20 dice, you may instead choose to change the original die to a die equaling its lowest available factor. The maximum should still equal the same, but the rolls will now be more consistent, having a higher average as well as minimum. If rolling 2d8, you now roll 4d4, if rolling 1d12, you now roll 3d4, etc.
If your campaign allows unorthodox dice, you may apply this feat to any dice roll if applicable. For example, if you roll 2d10, you may instead roll 4d5.
Below is a chart of what each die changes to when using this feat. Unorthodox dice are included should you choose to use them.
