Your kindness toward animals and years of study have manifested a bond of trust between fauna and yourself. You are able to manifest this bond as a ritual which takes 1 hour, binding you to a single willing creature of your choice. Once bonded with an animal in this way that animal is always able to understand your commands and communicate with you. You are also able to cast Beast Sense at will with it (so long as it is a spell available to your class), a number of times equal to your level per long rest. When casting Beast Sense with this creature it does not cost a spell slot and can be initiated or dismissed as a Bonus Action rather than an action. Additionally, the range for casting this spell is no longer touch but rather you can sense the location of your companion and perceive through their senses so long as they are within 120 ft of you. Otherwise the spell functions as normal (duration of 1 hour, etc.) The spell ends prematurely if either the caster or the animal fall unconscious. If your beast companion dies you may conduct the ritual again to summon another as soon as the next dawn.
