- Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.
- When an enemy creature hits you with a melee attack and you have a ranged weapon in your hand, you can reduce the damage taken by your dexterity modifier + 1. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short or long rest.
(Note, if you have Lightning Launcher, it counts as holding a ranged weapon in your 'hand'. If there is a better way to say this, please say so. Really.)
