Elegant Courtblade

Elves traditionally favor lithe and dexterous sword arts. Elegant Courtblades have mastered a style of longsword combat that capitalizes on quick, controlled focus rather than brute strength. You gain the following benefits:

• Increase your Dexterity or Strength score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• While you are holding a longsword  with both hands or one-handed without a shield in the other hand, you gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class. You only gain this bonus while wearing light, medium, or no armor.
• Any longsword you wield has the finesse property.

To gain the weapon benefits of this feat, equip a Courtblade (found in Homebrew Magic Items) or create your own similar weapon.

Note: This is a traditional Elven combat style, but your DM may rule that non-elves can learn it. Work with your DM to make such a ruling.
