Your past is stained with death and murder, and the blood of many innocents are in your hands. You push yourself to your limits, pursuing your desire no matter the cost. Your soul has been forever tainted by your sins, and within your heart you awaken a dark, forsaken power.

You learn the Dark Eboreus spell which, when cast at 2nd level, siphons the life force from others to heal your wounds with a shadowy mist. Your target must make a constitution saving throw. If they fail the target takes 3d10 necrotic damage, and you regain hit points equal to half the amount of necrotic damage dealt. If they succeed, they only take 1d10 necrotic damage and you regain nothing. If you are not a normal spellcaster, you can still cast this spell once per long rest.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 2nd.

Your charisma score is reduced by 5, to a minimum of 3.
