You can cast the spell Shocking Grasp a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per day. The number of uses resets at dawn.
Your spell attack modifier is your Intelligence modifier plus your proficiency modifier.

A critical fail will result in you taking the damage instead and it may also cause other unforeseeable side effects.
