Posted Dec 19, 2018It's iffy at best. The reason i say that is because there are other things you can get to increase your hitdice, some of them just increasing how much you heal after the roll. And secondly, i can see this just being a pain for multiclassers. I get what you were aiming for, i just think you aren't thinking in terms of a feat. It needs to be better than getting 2 points in a stat. Maybe give a Constitution stat point that raises the cap by 1, even if another feat raises the cap.

Posted Dec 24, 2018I see your point on the matter and that is a great option. I feel for multi-classing, it would have to be situational. Like you'd only up the Di on the class you leveled up on. So if you are a Barbarian/Monk Mix. and you level up your Barbarian side to get the feat. Then it is only your Barbarian side that will be affected. I agree with you on the matter that it is a feat that kinda feels lack luster in comparison to the others, but think of it like this. For classes that already have high dice rolls. It just might seem as a few embers on a campfire. Nice but just keeps the fire the same size. However for classes that start with a smaller one. Those chances for increase seems like the difference between having to make death save rolls or surviving that one extra round. Though again, I really do like the idea of adding on the " increased max Constitution stat".
