Once per turn you can use your bonus action to make another attack in battle provided you can sufficiently explain to the DM what you are doing to chain your attacks i.e. you successfully hit with a vine whip and then you smack the opponent with a mace if it is close enough after it has gone ten feet coming towards you. You can invoke this on any attack before rolling the first attack, but if it fails then all enemies have advantage on attacks against you and you have disadvantage on all dexterity and strength saving throws until the beginning of your next turn. If the first attack successfully hits, you may roll to do the second attack and because you have chained your blows you will do and extra 1d4 damage at the least, scaling with dice to be one die of 1/2 the first number rounding up i.e. a d12 roll will have an extra 1d6 damage or a d6 roll will have an extra 1d4 damage (if the regular attack will do just do a d4 damage add an additional d4 to your roll). Successfully landing both attacks will give your foe disadvantage on all strength and dexterity saving throws until the beginning of your next turn and when they are attacked the attacker has advantage on the attacks. Depending on the combo, the DM may also decide to make it so the creature lands prone, or have any number of other debuffs as they see fit.
