Arithmetic Genius

You see patterns in everything that surrounds you and can complete even the most complex calculations in but mere moments.

Increase your Intelligence or Wisdom score by 1, up to maximum of 20.

You have 3 spark of genius points. You may spend one point to do one of the following:

• Gain +5 bonus on any Intelligence (Investigation) to uncover clues or Wisdom (Perception) check spot inconsistencies in the enviroment, like illusions or hidden objects and creatures.

• Gain +5 bonus on any Wisdom (Insight) check made to spot inconsistencies and lies or predicting someone’s next move. 

• When another creature makes an attack against you, you can use your reaction to apply -5 penalty to this and all attacks made by the creature as part of the same action as long as you remain the target.

You can use this ability after the roll is made but before you know the result. You regain expended spark of genius points when you finish a long rest.
