Prerequisite: strength and dexterity 13 or higher and proficiency in a martial weapon
Your training allows you to utilize weapons in ways outside of their intended use:
- You gain proficiency with Improvised Weapons and improvised weapons that share no resemblance to another weapon deal 1d6 damage for you.
- As a bonus action, you can study a weapon and identify an alternate way of using it. Until you are no longer holding it, that weapon gains one of the following properties of your choice: Finesse, Thrown (20/60), Versatile (1d10), Reach, Light (if the weapon is not Heavy or Two-Handed), Heavy (if the weapon is not Light or Finesse). Alternatively, if it is a ranged or thrown weapon, you can instead double either its normal or long range (your choice). This effect ends early if you use your bonus action to give that weapon a different property.
