Venom Extraction

Your connection to your serpentine heritage grants you a unique insight into how your venom works. You gain the following benefits:

• You gain expertise with the Poisoner's Kit if you are not already an expert.
• You can spend up to 10 minutes extracting venom from your own fangs to produce up to two vials of venom.
• The number of vials you can store is dependent on your encumbrance. 2 vials weigh 1 pound.
• As an action, you can apply 1 vial of venom to any slashing or piercing weapon, or up to two pieces of ammunition. The venom can last on the weapon for up to 1 hour.
• If you apply venom to a weapon or ammunition, on your next hit, the creature must make a Constitution saving throw against your DC (8+Proficiency Bonus+Dexterity modifier) or become poisoned. On a hit, the venom is expended.
