Prerequisite: Spellcasting Feature

Requirement - Must have the Spellcaster Feature.

Increase your Constitution by +1.

You may only use one option per turn.

1. As a bonus action you can sacrifice hit die for a spell slot level equal the number of hit die you sacrifice or a number of lower level spell slots where the total spell slot levels added together is not more than the number of hit die you sacrificed. This cannot grant a spell slot level above a 3rd level spell.

2. Choose 1 sorcerous metamagic option. You do not need sorcery points to use metamagic options that you pay the cost for using this feature. As a bonus action you can sacrifice a hit die to imbue your next spell with one of the 2 options you chose. Taking this option again allows you to pick 2 more metamagic options each time. Anytime a metamagic option uses a charisma modifier it instead uses your spellcasting ability modifier.

3. As a bonus action you siphon a hit die from a willing or unconscious creature within 10 ft of you. As their blood infuses magically with yours, immediately after using this option you are subject to the poisoned condition until the end of your next turn. (Characters who do this to unconscious/unwilling targets regularly are probably turning evil rather quickly.)

4. As a bonus action you sacrifice a number of hit die equal to the spell slot level of the spell you are casting and tie the magic of 2 spells together. If you are already concentrating on a spell, you can concentrate on a 2nd spell with these disadvantages.
  • You have disadvantage on concentration saving throws while maintaining concentration on multiple spells.
  • When either spell or your concentration ends you suffer an additional level of exhaustion.
  • When one spell ends, even if the only cause is it reached its maximum duration, the other spell also ends.
5. As a reaction when you see someone cast dispel magic or counterspell you can fortify your spell by sacrificing hit dice. For each hit die sacrificed you increase the effective spell level of a spell or spells you have already cast. This increase does not change any effects of the spell.
You can split this between multiple spells but the total effective spell level increases must be equal to the number of hit dice you sacrificed.
The actual spell level of your spell(s) are not increased, thus their abilities/effects are not strengthened.
If the effective spell level is greater than the spell slot level spent on the triggering dispel magic or counterspell casting then the spell(s) you fortified are not dispelled. This is resolved seperately for each spell fortified.
The triggering casting of dispel magic/counterspell still resolves normally for everything else it would effect - the blood magic option does not dispel anything, merely protect spells you have already cast.

 6. You may spend hit dice to increase the damage of your spells, each die spent adds that much damage to the spell. In the case of area effect spells or spells that affect more than one target you must choose a target to take the extra die of damage.

7. As a bonus action you can sacrifice hit die. You instantly recover from a level of exhaustion per hit die sacrificed.
