You are a blank canvas to be painted on. A lump of clay to be molded into anything imaginable.
You have an easier time than most to learn new skills and abilities.
A teacher may spend a number of hours (detailed below) with you to teach you a perticullar skill or ability.
This could be any of the following:
- 20h Increase an abilityscore by 2, to a maximum of 20
- 25h Learn any new language or proficiency
- 40h Gain a level in any class. If you choose a class that you do not have any level in previously, you must meet the prerequesits as depicted in the Multiclassing chapter of the Players Handbook.
Your teacher must be knowladgable enough in a subject to teach it to you (for example only a Rogue can teach you levels in the Rogue class). The DM decides if a character is a suitable teacher or not.
You may spend any number of hours studying, up to a maximum of 10. When the lesson ends, the teacher has to make a wisdome(insight) (or any other skill check that the DM deems apropriate) to determain how well he/she tought you. Every hour spent over 2 gives -1 on the check. Based on the check, a percent of the hours spent studying hours count towards your learning (rounded up).
0-5: 0%
5-10: 25%
10-15: 50%
15-20: 100%
You may only benefit from one lesson per short or long rest.
