Great Weapon Defense

You have mastered great weapons to the point that you can not only attack, but can defend yourself as well, using the great weapon to parry and block.

While wielding a Two-Handed melee weapon with which you are proficient, and wielding no other weapon or shield, you gain +1 to your AC. This bonus does not apply if you are Stunned, Paralyzed, Frightened, Incapacitated, or Unconscious.

In addition, once per short rest you can use your reaction to parry a specific attack. After the attack is made, expend your Great Weapon Parry to add your proficiency modifier to your armor class, causing the attack to miss you.
