The caster can add an extra step in the creation of their undead by enhancing them with a magical rune. The caster must specify that an undead has the rune during the casting that raises them. The rune created on the undead is glowing and noticeable, but may be covered with illusions. When an undead that has a rune dies, the undead explodes causing everything in a 5ft radius around the creature to make a DEX saving through equal to your spell saving throw. Dealing 2d8 damage on a fail and no damage on a success.
- Red Rune: Fire damage and sets burnable objects not worn or carried in range on fire
- Green Rune: Acid damage that deals double damage to constructs and plant-life
- Purple Rune: Poison damage as a inhaled poison spews form the defeated undead
- Blue Rune: Lightning damage that doubles damage if a person in range is wearing metal armor
- White Rune: Cold damage that causes all effected to have -10ft of movement
- Yellow Rune: Thunder damage that creates a noise heard 100ft away
