You were always told you had an old soul when you were younger. How right they were.
Your soul, like many others has inhabited thousands of beings. For reasons unknown, you seem to be able to recall moments of these past lives. Sometimes at will, other times randomly.
At first it seemed like a great gift bestowed upon you but before long it began to feel like a curse. You began to recall awful things, tragedies and cruelty beyond your comprehension. You started to despair at the state of the world.
After a while you grew numb to the hatred and evil, you learned to shrug off the visions that disturbed you. The issue you have struggled with more than the twisted visions is the feeling of not knowing who you truly are. You have experienced countless versions of yourself making it difficult to hold on to your true identity.
