
You have martial training that allows you to better utilize whips.
- After attacking with a whip, you can choose to forego the damage roll and grapple foes with your whip. This grapple check can be made with your acrobatics (DEX) bonus.
- Reel in / Trip: You may attempt to drag grappled foes towards you or try to knock them prone. To do so, pick an effect you would like to impose and make a second grapple check based on your acrobatics (strength).
- In addition, you can fire a hand crossbow or throw one handed weapons in your off hand as a bonus action. Add the relevant bonuses as normal to this attack.
