Your time as a circus performer has shaped your life as an Entertainer and as a Bard.

You gain double proficiency bonus to Animal Handling, Acrobatics, and Performance.

You gain proficiency in the whip.

You possess a whip, 12 darts, an animal whistle, a hoop, and a horn.

Your two entertainer costumes are "Animal Tamer Costume" and "Acrobat Costume."

When preforming in town with a beast companion or a charmed beast, your performances are 1.5x as effective as they would have been otherwise.

You gain a beast companion that accompanies you on your adventures and is trained to fight alongside you. Choose a beast that has a challenge rating of 1/2 your current level or lower, but no greater than 4. The beast must be a animal likely to appear in circuses within the world you inhabit (at your DM's discretion but always includes black bear, lion, tiger, and elephant.)

Add your proficiency bonus to the beast's AC, attack rolls, and damage rolls, as well as to any saving throws and skills it is proficient in. Its hit point maximum equals its normal maximum or four times your level, whichever is higher.

The beast obeys your commands as best as it can. It takes its turn on your initiative, though it doesn't take an action unless you command it to. On your turn, you can verbally command the beast where to move (no action required by you).

You can use your action to verbally command it to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, Dodge, or Help action. At level 4, you can make one weapon attack yourself when you command the beast to take the Attack action.

Your first companion is free. A new companion can be purchased in town for 50x the beast's hit points in gold pieces. You may have only one companion at a time. You cannot sell or permanently dismiss your companion, but you may "stable" it in town for 5x the beast's hit points in gold and retrieve it later at no charge.

If consistent with you character's backstory, you may take this feat at level one, but you lose the first feat you would have otherwise earned.

You must take any animal based spell as soon as it is available.

After a long rest, you may once preform the action "Contortionist." When hit with a ranged or melee attack, you may make an Acrobatics saving throw that if successful avoids the attack. If the attack involved separate "to hit" and "damage" rolls, you must have declared your action before the result of the damage roll. At level 5 this actions becomes once per short rest. At level 10 this action becomes once per battle.
