Prerequisite: Requires a Dexterity score of 10 or higher.
You have long nails with beautiful colours(man call it warpaint) and you sharpen them every night to maintain a "clean" edge.
- Increase charisma or dexterity score by 1.
- You can treat your nails as woodcarver's tools.
- Nails: Your nails are considered a natural weapon, they use dexterity, and deal 1d4 slashing damage.
- If you are a monk, you can use them with martial arts, and they scale with the martial art die.
- You can use poison on your nails, but if you are not proficient, things could go wrong.

Posted Mar 21, 2023I can see the image you're going for. Some flaws in the writeup:
-The prerequisite should be an odd number. Most feats have this, since even numbers on ability scores just get you a plus one to its modifier. A thirteen seems to be consistent with other feats.
-Under the 'Nails' entry, you probably want to just say they are a simple natural weapon doing 1d4 slashing damage with certain properties, 'Finesse' being the main one you're looking for to make them Dexterity friendly.
-How would they 'scale with the martial arts die'? Being a simple weapon should let monks use Martial Arts with them, just like a dagger.
-Check to see if poison mishaps are already a thing. I don't remember how they work in 5e but every other D&D-style game I've seen has the would-be poisoner risk a mishap and a dose of their own medicine if they poison their blade and err. This would be magnified, I think, if you're doing it to your own nails (especially when you then try to scratch that itch on your back!).
