Your travels between performances have been long and fraught with the dangers of the wilderness, which have inspired your music and magic with primal energy. Whenever you learn a new bard spell, you can choose instead to learn a spell from the ranger spell list of a level that you can cast. This spell counts as a bard spell for you and is treated normally as one of your spells known but does not count against the number of spells you gain from the Magical Secrets class feature. You can only know one ranger spell in this way.

In addition, you gain the Primeval Awareness feature per the Ranger class, but you must additionally expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to employ it. When you do so, your enhanced awareness lasts for a number of minutes equal to 1 per level of the spell slot expended plus the result of your Bardic Inspiration roll. Once you use this ability in this way, you cannot use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
