Prerequisite: Strength 16 or higher.

You’ve developed the skills necessary to grapple and restrain your opponents in combat. You gain the following benefits:

  • When you take the attack during your turn. You can use a bonus action to attempt to grapple the target of your attack provided you have at least one free hand.
  • When a creature provokes an attack of opportunity, you can attempt to Grapple them instead of making an attack.
  • If you successfully grapple a creature twice in a roll you can transition the grapple into a full-body restraint. The creature is considered restrained. On each of your turns, you can attempt to harm the restrained creature without releasing the restraint by choking it, twisting, crushing, or bashing its body parts. These restrain attacks count as unarmed attacks and deal an additional 1d8 bludgeoning damage.
