You are a practitioner of multiple forms of knowledge and seek pursuits down not just one, but many paths. All lead you to the end goal of evolving in your knowledge and your toolbox. Unlike most wizards who restrict themselves to books, you take solace in the natural ways, where magic is most pure and prominent. Once per day you can examine a biological segment from a creature and make a DC 15 investigation or Nature check. On a success, you learn one spell for a level you have spell slots for. You cannot extract more than one spell from a single type of segment, but you can potentially from different segment types of the same creature. When you level up, if you complete a DC 18 Investigation or Nature check, you can create your own spell as a culmination of all of the creature parts you have studied since your last successful check to invent your own spell in this way.
