Prerequisite: Strength
You've been raised by Goliaths and can hold your own. You've always been fighting to keep up, because anyone who can't pull their own gets left behind.
You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Strength score by 3.
- Decrease your Arcana and Persuasion by 1.
- You speak Giant.
- You gain Advantage on Fear Saving Throws.
- You can't roll an attack lower than what your ally just rolled.

Posted Mar 21, 2022People need to keep in mind that feats are in place of an ASI. You are sacrificing the ability score improvement to take this feat. But instead, we're getting better ASI, learning a language, gaining advantage to a save, and some absolutely broken ability that makes little sense. All at the cost of just one arcana or persuasion.
I'm sorry, but, "can't roll an attack lower than what your ally just rolled"??? Is that... any ally in the whole last round? Or the most recent one? That's literally just "I'm better than my allies, no matter what happens in a given situation".
But my favorite part is that you don't even need to take this at first level; you can just retcon your entire backstory with this one feat, and gain every single insane benefit.

Posted Feb 7, 2025If this power got nerfed, this would be decent. But what if they, say, roll a nat 20? Also, how dies this ability tie in. This has a lot of potential.
