Though a greater understanding, or possibly your more bestial nature, you have gained the ability to befriend Monstrosities as well as Beasts.

Using the expanded Animal Handling skill, you may attempt to gain a Monstrosity as a Follower.

This creature acts on its own initiative and generally listens to your directions.  

You also gain a Proficiency Bonus to your Animal Handling skill when attempting to tame a Beast or influence a Monstrosity.
