Once per turn you can take one additional action. You cannot cast spells of first level or higher using your additional action. If you take the attack action  using this additional action you make only 1 attack regardless of any class features or feats you have. You can use this ability once per long rest. 

at level 9. you can use this ability twice per long rest.
